The Portability app updates your contact list with the long-distance carrier code of your choice, particularly useful when switching carriers so that all numbers from other cities retain the code of the previous carrier.

This app does not update the carrier label of the numbers.

Features:

Inserts the code of any carrier into your numbers.
Removes the Carrier Code, leaving them in the format (11) 5555-5555 or (011) 5555-5555.

Configuration Options:

You can choose the format of numbers in your city (with or without carrier and area code).
You can choose whether to convert numbers with +55 to numbers with carrier and area code.

Characteristics:

Only updates the long-distance carrier, keeping the area code and telephone number intact.
Allows you to choose a long-distance carrier.
Option to add or remove carrier and area code on local numbers.
The option to recognize +55 11 numbers (calls from outside Brazil) and convert them to numbers with carrier and area code.
Preview of the numbers to be updated.
Recognizes and correctly handles 9-digit numbers.
Ignores numbers with # or * (Radio).
Recognizes and correctly handles numbers in the format 4004-xxxx and 3003-xxxx, known as National Unique Numbers.

Say your current carrier is 21:

From (015 11) 5555-5555 to (021 11) 5555-5555
From (041 16) 98999-9999 to (021 16) 98999-9999
Optional: from 5555-5555 to (021 11) 5555-5555
Optional: from +55 41 5555-5555 to (021 41) 5555-5555

PRIVACY POLICY:

The Portability app directly accesses your smartphone's contact list. The only data manipulated are the telephone numbers and names of your contacts. This information is used solely to carry out the task of updating long-distance carrier information.

No information is sent to Portability servers or any other entity. All data is manipulated and used only within the app on your smartphone.
